Julia’s strong technical and business qualifications are equally matched with over 15 years of experience in P&L, Operations Management, Global Sales & Marketing, Channel Management, New Product Development and Business Strategies. Julia has a strong foundation in corporate governance being a graduate and current member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). She also serves as a Director on the Board of the Australian Institute of Mine Surveyors (AIMS). AIMS is a national body providing professional representation to government, industry and educational organisations on mine surveying regulation and legislation change issues in Australia. From 2010-2014, Julia served as the General Manager of Australian and South East Asian Operations for the British engineering company Renishaw PLC. Renishaw specialises in the design and manufacture of measurement technologies for the Mining, Quarrying, Engineering, Marine and metrology sectors. From 2008-2010, Julia worked for Jeminex as the Marketing and Business Development Manager. Jeminex is a leading Industrial Safety company in Australia. Prior to this, Julia held executive level positions within the Steel industry both in Australia and overseas. Julia has presented a number of papers at various high profile mining conferences and published many journal articles in international magazines on mining & mapping and quarry applications. In 2003, Julia earned her MBA degree (Marketing and International Business) from LA Trobe University, Melbourne. In 2009, she was awarded the title of Chartered Practicing Marketer (CPM) by the Australian Marketing Institute. |
